Job Overview

The Product Development Team works with internal and external stakeholders to understand their platform needs and seek opportunities for platform advancement. They are looking for a talented and highly organized Senior Product Manager. In undertaking this challenge, you will use your organizational skills, software experience, and product management expertise to determine the priority of new product features or enhancements into our analytic platform. This role requires collaboration with other business units within the Norstella family of businesses along with our internal teams: App Engineering, Client Engagement, and Operations. This position reports to Director of Product at Panalgo.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business goals across the Norstella family of businesses into specific software requirements.
  • Determine and communicate tradeoffs between features, schedule, and costs based on their relationship to business goals, company policies, software architecture constraints, and software development team capabilities.
  • Discover new product development ideas and collaborate on design with engineering and stakeholder teams.
  • Coordinate with fellow product managers to prioritize software features based on market need.
  • Perform user acceptance (UA) testing on new features and bug fixes.
  • Assess and recommend required resources for implementing and delivering new product offerings.
  • Maintain an organized repository of information about needs of the business unit.
  • And other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. statistics, data science, computer science, engineering, product management, business)
  • 7+ years of experience in a product management role within a product, business analytics, or engineering team.
  • Experience collaborating with different types of external stakeholders.
  • Expert in JIRA or other project-tracking software.
  • Experience in Figma or similar design systems preferred.
  • Ability to distill business requests into technical product-based terminology.
  • Experience leading large software product initiatives from inception to rollout.
  • Ability to work with little supervision or guidance.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Pride in your craft with a curiosity to learn new tools and technologies to improve Panalgo's products and operations.

Bonus points if you have:

  • A Master's degree
  • Experience mentoring other Product Managers
  • Experience at a life science company

Travel: Infrequent, large company events or team meetings

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $165,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
