We’re poised to accelerate our growth and are looking to add an exceptional Senior Engagement Manager to our team.

The Position

The Senior Engagement Manager will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strategic client relationships maximizing Panalgo’s footprint within their organizations. In this role, you will work to become a trusted advisor, developing and implementing strategies for product and service adoption with a lens towards long-term growth. Internally, you will advise senior leadership to identify how Panalgo’s solutions will support each client with achieving their business priorities. You will be the expert when it comes to your clients and their business needs.

The Team

The Client Engagement team is at the forefront of engaging IHD’s customers, advising on implementation considerations, and collaborating on product development to ensure our customers are successful in using IHD to address all of their analytic needs.  

The ideal candidate for this position must showcase excellent client relationship and people management skills. Additionally, they must have a strategic mindset with a strong interest in healthcare and technology. The candidate must also possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills so as to work effectively in cross-functional internal teams and communicate externally with clients.  An ability to work in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of professionalism is crucial to this role at Panalgo.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain durable, strategic customer relationships by providing products and solutions
  • Develop and implement strategies for the adoption, retention, and growth of IHD and related services
  • Understand existing and future consumer needs for software tools, healthcare databases, internal and external study collaboration, and advanced analytic, serving as client expert to the organization
  • Support clients in realizing the value of IHD and identifying upsell opportunities
  • Maximize company market share, account penetration, and customer experience
  • Act as client expert at the organization, assisting in user support issues and coordinating product trainings
  • Collaborate with product team on identifying areas for new product development
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Passion for solving clients’ problems and addressing unmet needs
  • Demonstrated organizational, creative problem solving, and effective communication skills. Situational awareness a must.
  • Ability to acquire understanding of and proficiency in features, benefits, and applications of IHD
  • Advanced knowledge of study design and scientific methods
  • General understanding of healthcare databases (e.g., claims, EHR, hospital, registry) and the pros/cons of various sources
  • Attention to detail and positive upbeat attitude
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, drive, and work ethic

Qualifications:

  • Masters’ or PhD degree in relevant area (e.g., economics, health economics, epidemiology, biostatistics, management), or in place of degree, additional 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience in outcomes research, health economics, epidemiology, or consulting for life sciences companies
  • Minimum 5+ years of client engagement, strategic account management, or sales experience

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $140,000 to $160,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
