Panalgo is seeking a part-time Integration Analyst Intern to join our expanding Data team. In this position, your responsibilities will include managing diverse healthcare data sources and standardizing incoming data for use in our IHD platform. We are looking for proactive individuals who take ownership of their roles, collaborate effectively, and consistently seek opportunities for personal and professional growth. By the end of the program, the Integration Analyst Intern will have added multiple projects to their professional portfolio, including planning and mapping an entire datasource to the IHD standard data model.
Responsibilities:
Map healthcare related data elements to a standard data model.
Verify the extraction and normalization specifications applied to client data.
Create and maintain data mapping documentation.
Work closely with team members in the investigation of data anomalies.
All other duties, as assigned.
Requirements:
Master’s or PhD student in relevant area (e.g., economics, health economics, business, data science, etc…).
Proficiency in SQL.
Proficient understanding of clinical processes and vocabulary.
Proficient knowledge of health information systems including EMR, and claims processing.
Proficient knowledge of relational database systems.
Demonstrated analytical, organizational, creative problem solving and structured communication skills.
Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.
Attention for fine details and work processes.
Highly analytical and enjoys solving mysteries.
Enjoys a fast-paced environment and the opportunity to quickly learn new skills.
Ability to work creatively and flexibly, both independently and as part of a team.

Note, due to data access restrictions, employees are required to be living in the United States during their time of employment. All candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $35.00 to $40.00 per hour, 20 hours a week. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
